Power & Free Replacement with Skid Conveyor
We carried out the replacement of an outdated Power & Free system with limitations for the new production requirements. The system was replaced with a Skid Conveyor system on levels 0 and 1.
This included a line of selective buffer tables, among other equipment, and a four-column elevator with transfer arms to move the unit from the paint skid to the assembly plant skid.
For the design, we performed a process simulation in Siemens Plant Simulation to validate the required speeds on each transportation medium.

Chassis Cell / Durr
We developed an assembly line consisting of a shock absorber, suspension, and brake system, applying a Stop and Go system through 3 chain conveyors with floating rollers. Over these conveyors, more than 20 geometric pallets carry the main parts, where operators assemble the units and torque the various fasteners with a traceability system. In parallel, data is reported to GM’s general production line and identified via scanner before the operational cycle begins. This identifies which vehicle model is being produced, automatically setting torque tools and enabling automatic picking supply.
For the design, we performed a process simulation in Siemens Plant Simulation to validate the required speeds for each transportation medium and workstation.

BlackOut Sticker
We designed and built a Skid Conveyor line consisting of platforms, control booths, and inspection lighting for final operations in the paint plant.

Skillet Transfer
We designed, built, and replaced four transfer points above and below the floor of the skillet line in the assembly plant. Each transfer was equipped with scissor tables on German belts, featuring special mechanisms onboard to transfer over 80 skillet units longitudinally and transversely

Show Test with Finish Line
We developed a Finish Line project, which is the final stage of the assembly process in automotive production lines. In this stage, final adjustments and details are made, such as attaching emblems, correcting imperfections, and insulating smaller accessories.
The line features a double-track plastic belt conveyor that automatically moves the units, while operators walk alongside to complete the final tasks. This system optimizes workflow, ensuring that the vehicle is fully prepared for market release.

Special Transfers for Intralogistics with AMR
We designed and built a specialized conveyor for the efficient transfer of cockpit pallets. This system allows the transfer of loads between the forklift operator and the autonomous mobile robot (AMR), responsible for transporting the pallets to the assembly line.
Additionally, we incorporated an indexing table that receives the load from the AMR and positions it accurately. This allows the manually operated cockpit handler to take the component and mount it on the unit safely and precisely.
This system guarantees smooth, automated, and secure operation, optimizing internal logistics times and improving the final assembly process efficiency.
